NL boys, girls pick up wins over Blue Mtn.
Northern Lehigh picked up girls and boys basketball wins and the Marian Fillies also continued their run in scholastic action over the weekend.
In the Nolehi girls game, Aimee Oertner became the school's all-time leading scorer.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Blue Mt.-No. Lehigh
Aimee Oertner became the all-time leading scorer in Northern Lehigh history as the Lady Bulldogs gained a 46-37 non-league win over Blue Mountain.
Oertner needed 16 points to gain the honor and finished with 17. She passed the mark of 1,639 by Rebecca Blose and now has 1,641.
The winners received a game-high 18 points from Tina Bastardi.
Northern Lehigh is now 10-10 overall.
Blue Mountain was led in by Shanelle Koch's 14 points.
In the JV contest, Blue Mountain pulled out a 26-18 win.

Holy Redeemer-Marian
Marian got a strong test from Holy Redeemer, as it held on for a 53-49 non-league win.
Kelly Shober's 15 and Gabby Green's 13 did a majority of the scoring load for the Fillies.
Meanwhile, Holy Redeemer was led in scoring by A. Lewis with 12.
Holy Redeemer won the JV contest, 40-20.

With both teams already qualified for the District 11 playoffs, No. Lehigh and Blue Mountain battled it out with the Bulldogs taking a 55-51 win.
Northern Lehigh (17-3) was led in scoring by Devin Glose, who poured in 15, Caleb Johnson followed with 14 and teammate Tyler Dibilio added 10 points in the well-rounded effort.
Blue Mountain (15-6), got a game-high 17 from Jake Cryts, while Peter Harding also had a nice game with 14.
Blue Mountain prevented the sweep with a 40-37 JV win.

Kyler Burke had a game-high 28 points to lead the Cardinals over the Olympians, 67-49 in a Schuylkill League Division I battle.
The Cardinals (14-6, 7-4 D-I) moved into a third-place tie with Blue Mountain (7-4) in the division standings and a half-game behind North Schuylkill (7-3) in the race for the wild-card spot in the Schuylkill League playoffs.
Dane Ciavarella led the Olympians, who have now lost 13 straight, with 20 points.
In the JV game, Jim Thorpe won 40-27 behind 15 points from Michael Harleston.
