PV Knee-Hi

The next regular monthly meeting for the Panther Valley Knee-Hi Association will be on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 8 p.m. at The Sports Zoo, Lansford.

Republican Club

The new Panther Valley Republican Club will elect officers for two-year terms at a meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Maple Shade Community Room.

Any Republican from Lansford, Nesquehoning or Summit Hill who has not yet filled out a membership application can do so at this meeting or by mail to PV GOP, 243 W. High St., Nesquehoning, PA 18224.

Summit Hill

St. Paul Lutheran

The Rev. George P. Zacharda, a retired pastor from Catasauqua, will lead the worship service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, on Sunday, Feb. 12.

It will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Sunday school will meet at 9 a.m.

During the service, members of the church council will be installed.

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, the council members will meet at 7 p.m. in the church.

Legion to meet

The monthly meeting of American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the post home. Commander W. Kevin O'Donnell will be in charge of the session.

A meeting of the Home Association will immediately follow the post's meeting.

Anthracite LL

The Anthracite Little League Association (Summit Hill and Nesquehoning) will hold registration on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nesquehoning and Summit Hill borough buildings.
