Mortgage foreclosures
The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

Credit defaults
The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.
Cavalry SPV I, Valhalla, New York, filed against Jason M. Orlando, 644 Mauch Chunk St., Palmerton, seeking $2,241.59.
Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union, Allentown, filed against Marshall E. Eldridge, 93 N. Kittatinny Road, Lehighton, seeking $24,555.01.
Bank of America, Philadelphia, filed against Karen L. Miata, 115 Barbara Ave., Lehighton, seeking $10,342.45.
Portfolio Recovery Associates, Norfolk, Virginia, filed against Georgianna Hiler, 830 E. Patterson St., Lansford, seeking $2,757.56.
Accident suit
Aaron Wraight, a minor, by his natural parent/guardian, Rebecca Wraight, 108 Bridge St., Weissport, filed a civil complaint against Stephanie Bender, 110 Petrarch Trail, Albrightsville, and Kim Haupt, 1425 Indian Hill Road, Lehighton, seeking damages from an accident involving a pedestrian.
The suit states on Dec. 23, 2015, the minor, Aaron Wraight, was walking on Bridge Street, Weissport, and crossing the street near the intersection with White Street, when "suddenly, without warning" a vehicle operated by Bender eastbound struck the minor with such force to throw him to the ground in the westbound lane. He was then struck by a vehicle operated by Haupt westbound on Bridge Street.
Damages are sought for the injuries sustained by the plaintiff and detailed in the suit. Negligence is alleged against Bender and Haupt and damages in excess of $50,000 is sought against each.
Bill owed
Constellation NewEngery Inc., 100 Constellation Way, Baltimore, Maryland, filed a civil action against Failtea Inc., dba, Mollies Pub, 5 Hazard Square, Jim Thorpe.
The suit alleges the defendant owes a bill for certain goods and services provided by the plaintiff. Sought is $12,929.23 plus interest, costs and fees.
Association sued
The Lehighton Ambulance Association, 516 Iron St., Lehighton, and staff members/volunteers, Valerie Stuart and Matthew Derkosh, have been named defendants in a suit for damages for injuries sustained. Plaintiff is Kenneth E. Charlton, 183 Parker Trail, Albrightsville.
The suit states on June 19, 2016, about 12:15 a.m. the plaintiff called the defendant association for assistance to help him get from his couch to his electric wheelchair as he was weak and unable to do it by himself.
Upon arrival, both Stuart and Derkosh attempted to lift plaintiff from his couch "notwithstanding his warning to them that they would not be able to do it and in lifting him, dropped him," the suit states, causing him to fall on his left knee resulting in injuries detailed in the suit.
Negligence is alleged against the defendants and sought are damages in excess of $50,000.
Oppression action
Patrick W. Seifert, 600 Lonesome Lane, Palmerton, has filed a civil action against All-Trade Construction Company Inc., 1210 Little Gap Road, Palmerton; Ross Haydt, 1249 Little Gap Road, Palmerton; and Shawn Quinn, 1855 Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.
The suit states, "This is a minority stockholder oppression action whereby Plaintiff seeks to: (a) recover the fair value of his shares in All-Trade Construction Co. Inc., a closely held Pennsylvania corporation; or (b) in the alternative, cause the involuntarily dissolution of All-Trade."
The suit states Seifert and Haydt each own a 43.75 percent of the stock of All-Trade and Quinn has 12.5 percent of the stock in All-Trade.
The suit states All-Trade is a construction company founded in 1992 and focuses on steel erection, plant maintenance, crane rentals and equipment transport.
In summary, the plaintiff alleges that defendants Haydt and Quinn have "combined forces to unlawfully usurp complete control of All-Trade's affairs for their pecuniary benefit and to Plaintiff's exclusion." The suit further alleges the defendants have mismanaged the affairs of All-Trade and "unlawfully frozen Plaintiff out of meaningful participation in the operations of All-Trade."
Details of those allegations are contained in the suit. Alleged further is breach of fiduciary duty against both defendants.
The plaintiff seeks a judgment against the defendants in an "amount to be determined at trial representing the full market value of his interest in All-Trade Construction Co. Inc., and in excess of the compulsory arbitration limits; or in the alternative, that All-Trade Construction Co. Inc. be involuntarily dissolved, together with such additional relief as the Court deems justified by the circumstances."
