Four teams still unbeaten

After two weeks of play, Cuz-N-Joe's Place, R.R. Frey Services, Ryan's Oil & Heating and Schick's Cafe Calcutta have seperated themselves from the pack in the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) winter basketball league.

RESULTS

Ryan's Oil & Heating-Midas Touch Hair Salon

Ryan's Oil & Heating proved to be too much for Midas Touch Hair Salon, as the defending league champions rolled to a 61-36 victory.

Joe Schaeffer buried six three pointers and led Ryan's with 20 points, while Shawn Tray chipped in with 11.

Steve Nesgoda's 11 points paced Midas Touch.

R.R. Frey Services-Pereira's/Joey B's

R.R. Frey Services picked up its second win with a 56-43 victory over Pereira's Kwik Stop/Joey B's.

Dave Wilson led R.R. Frey's with a game-high 20 points, while Derrick McFarland and Jason Derr added 14 and 10 points respectively.

For Pereira's/Joey B's, Tom Kresge and Petes Balogach tallied 10 points apiece.

Cuz-N-Joe's Place-

The Batter's Box

Jon Veet had a career night, as Cuz-N-Joe's Place picked up a 78-67 victory over The Batter's Box.

Veet scored a league-high 43 points off of 18 field goals and drained seven three-pointers. Brandon DeCosmo also tacked on 11 points.

Bejtullah Mehmeti's 17 points led The Batter's Box, while Tom Miller added 13.

Schick's Cafe Calcutta-Longboard Surfers

Schick's Cafe Calcutta placed six players in double-figures and steamrolled the Longboard Surfers by a final score of 88-32.

Chris Decker had 18 points to lead Schick's, while JR Graver and Mark Mazur tossed in 14 points apiece.

Andrew Hines scored 24 of his team's 32 points.
