Three teams are undefeated

Cuz-N-Joe's Place, R.R. Frey Services and Ryan's Oil & Heating all posted victories on Wednesday night to remain undefeated and tied atop the standings in the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission's winter basketball league.

RESULTS

Pereira's/Joey B's-

The Batter's Box

Pereira's Kwik Stop/Joey B's broke into the win column with a 65-50 victory over The Batter's Box.

Peter Balogach paced Pereira's/Joey B's with 19 points, while Zach Tofany added 15.

Brad Yuricheck led The Batter's Box with 11 points.

Longboard Surfers-Ryan's Oil & Heating

In a game that went down to the wire, Ryan's Oil & Heating hung on for a 53-50 victory over the Longboard Surfers.

Ryan's Oil & Heating shot a perfect 20-for-20 from the free throw line and was led by Shawn Tray's 15 points (10-for-10 from the charity stripe). Jeff Peel added 10 points in the win.

Colin Nurse's 18 points and four three-pointers led the Longboard Surfers and Markiem Jenkins tacked on 12.

Midas Touch Hair Salon-

R.R. Frey Services

R.R. Frey Services jumped out to a 41-16 halftime lead and never looked back, en route to a 75-52 victory over Midas Touch Hair Salon.

R.R. Frey's Derrick McFarland led all scorers with a game-high 23 points, while Dave Wilson tallied 20 points and four treys. Jason Derr and Tom Toth factored in with 13 points apiece.

For Midas Touch Hair Salon, Andrew Michalik and Jason Miller scored 15 and 12 points respectively.

Cuz-N-Joe's Place-Schick's Cafe Calcutta

In a battle of league unbeatens, Cuz-N-Joe's Place cruised to a 65-44 victory over Schick's Cafe Calcutta.

Jon Veet once against shouldered the scoring load for Cuz-N-Joe's with 19 points. Brandon DeCosmo factored in with with 18 points and four three-pointers.

For Schick's Cafe Calcutta, Chris Decker was the lone double-figure scorer with 15 points.
