Palmerton board approves coaches

Palmerton Area School Board on an 8-0 vote Tuesday approved the following extracurricular positions pending contract negotiations for the 2012-13 school year: Director Josann Harry was absent.

- David Lavin, head golf coach, with salary pending contract negotiations.

The board also approved, by the same vote, the following extracurricular positions per the negotiated contract for the 2011-12 school year:

- Kenneth Scott Adcox, assistant softball coach, $2,548

- Mike Machinski, assistant softball coach, $2,548

- Scott Levandusky, volunteer softball coach

- John Herring, volunteer softball coach
