February 22, 1988 Nick Wishousky scores a team-high 19 points and Tamaqua uses a big third quarter to pull away from Pine Grove for a 74-55 victory. The win allows the Blue Raiders, coached by Ed Wise, to claim the Schuylkill League Division I title. Wishousky tallies 12 of his points during that third frame in which Tamaqua outscores its opponent by a 24-12 margin. John Woodring contributes to the win with 17 points while Bob Kalish chips in with nine.
