Berger recognized for academics

Bloomsburg University field hockey player Courtney Berger was one of 11 Huskies recently named to the Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Squad.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year.

Berger is a graduate of Lehighton and is in her freshman year at Bloomsburg. This past season Berger saw action in six games.
