Care Net offering new classes

Care Net of Carbon County, 250 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, has two classes coming up.

Men's Group for Healthy Change begins Feb. 25 and takes place from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

Parenting classes will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays from March 8 through May 31. Participants can earn $25 in Mommy/Daddy dollars per class.

Classes include: the parent-child relationship (emotion coaching); CPR training; parenting vs. respect; quality child care; learning through play; pediatric emergencies; preventing child sexual abuse; toilet training; and developmental milestones.
