April 4, 2002 Nate Phillips sets a new school record in the high jump and Mary Horvat registers three individual firsts to help Marian sweep Mahanoy Area in a track meet. Phillips clears 6-7 as the Colts post a 112-38 win. Double winners for Marian include Vito Digilio (100, 200), Justin Esposito (110 and 300 hurdles) and Dave Conway (discus, javelin). Horvat claims the shot put, discus and javelin to help the Fillies roll to a 109-34 victory. Trish McElmoyle (200, 400) and Dominique Ramer (800, 1600) also aid in the win.
