ACS Auction grateful for community support
Dear Editor:
On behalf of myself, my daughter Jess Kutza, and the American Cancer Society Telethon Committee, I extend deepest gratitude to everyone who supported our Annual ACS Chinese Auction held in the Lakeside Ballroom on Sunday, March 25th.
This year's total of over approximately 800 donations, the hundreds of attendees and all proceeds would have never been possible without YOU, our supportive friends and businesses. Because of YOU, we will be able to present a sizable check on the ACS Telethon, Telethon Weekend, April 14th and 15th, live at Penn's Peak signifying what a caring community we live in.
Each year the Auction continues to grow and we strive for improvement. I can only hope that you had a memorable experience and will invite your friends to participate in all of our events. Feel free to email me with your comments and I invite you to follow all of our events on www.cancertelethon.org.
Many thanks to all of you who supported our special big item white ticket sales that circulated prior to the auction. Pre-sales again surpassed our expectations.
Let us not forget our bakers, handy folks, CCTI, WMGH, Penn's Peak, Channel s 13 & 80. newspapers , Polka Joe, Cody Scott, T & E Welding, Michaels, Big Lot, Needlebugs, Asphalt Paving Systems, set up, ticket sellers, ticket separators, donation go-getters, and YOU, our friends, who never let us down.
Again, thank you for being a part of "People You Know Helping People You Know." Tune in or stop by the ACS Telethon to find out the Auction total and to check out the 2012 Ford Fiesta, a car drawing sponsored by Rottet Motors, to be chanced off in the very near future.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Dulaney
