Kimberly Nanovic earns doctorate in Physical Therapy

Kimberly Nanovic of Jim Thorpe was among 79 graduates who earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree during Arcadia University's Commencement Ceremony in January. Nanovic received the degree with distinction.

As part of a required Capstone project that focuses on the evidence-based practice of physical therapy, Nanovic presented a Research Platform Session presentation on: "Describing the Utilization and Intervention in Home Care Physical Therapy (HC PT) for Patients Following Total Knee Replacement (TKR)."

As a part of Arcadia's promise of global perspective through study abroad experience, Nanovic studied abroad in Guatemala. Arcadia's Physical Therapy graduates are leaders expert clinicians, educators, researchers, practice owners/managers, authors and legislative liaisons maintaining the integrity of the profession, advancing knowledge and impacting rehabilitation and wellness.

Recognized as one of the top in the country, Arcadia's Physical Therapy program was the first program in Pennsylvania to offer both the entry-level and transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. The program is ranked seventh among the 211 accredited graduate PT programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
