Theft investigation leads to drug arrests

The investigation into a retail theft at the Walmart store led to drug charges against a man and a woman, Mahoning Township police reported.

On Jan. 25, at 4:46 p.m. police investigated a retail theft at Walmart. During the investigation police seized heroin and marijuana.

As a result Amanda Palisoc, 23, of Kresgeville has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (both misdemeanors); and retail theft (summary).

Paul Palisoc, 25, also of Kresgeville, has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana (misdemeanor); and retail theft.

Preliminary hearings are scheduled for March 22.
