May 12, 1954 Bobby Breslin wins three events to help Summit Hill earn a narrow 58-51 track victory over Nesquehoning. Breslin cops the 100, 220 and 440. The winners, coached by Vern Hontz, also receive firsts from Joe Van Horn (broad jump), Stan Michalik (pole vault) and Frank Lisella (shot put). The Nesquers gain individual wins from Tommy Kanouse (880), Bill Sluck (mile), Bill Donald (discus) and Mike Digilio (javelin).
