June 26, 1986 Northwestern's Scott Ziegler and Brian Kemmerer are members of the winning City All-Star team in the annual Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic. Thirteen TIMES NEWS area players participate in the event with 11 on the Suburban team. Palmerton's George Schmidt tosses a touchdown pass in the 27-18 contest. Other area players include the Bombers' Rick Dunbar, Bill Strauch, Randy Thomas and Tim Wargo; Lehighton's Rob Hinkle, Wess Eidem, Rich Bloom and Scott Rehrig; Northern Lehigh's Donald Evans; and Pleasant Valley's Mike Meitzler.
