Standing up for people

Dear Editor:

I want to publicly say Thank You to two of our Carbon County Commissioners, Tom Gerhard and Wayne Nothstein, for standing up for the people of Carbon County and signing a resolution to nullify Sections 1021 and 1022 of the 2012 NDAA.

It is a shame that Commissioner O'Gurek is misinformed on this issue. It is also quite hypocritical of Mr. O'Gurek to say he cares about the integrity of the voting process while sitting in the seat that Carbon County residents, Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike, voted him out of.

It would seem that if he cared about the integrity of the vote, he would resign instead of using his position for political grandstanding!
