Getz's beats Molly Maguires for title

The Jim Thorpe Summer Basketball League recently wrapped up its season with a postseason championship game and an all-star game.

In the JTSL final, Getz's continued it's impressive post-season run by posting a convincing 64-47 victory over Molly Maguires Pub.

Getz's was led by a balanced offensive attack with Eric Busocker (13), Kyle Busocker (11), Tony Stoeckel (10), and Craig Zurn (10) all hitting double figures.

Eric Busocker's performance capped a season that saw him win the 2011 JTSL scoring championship and earn league MVP honors.

Molly Maguires Pub was led by Josh Hontz's 17 points.

All Star Game

East-West

In a typical high scoring affair, the West All Stars outdueled the East, 100-86.

Leading the way for the East was T.J. McKeon with 19 points, including five treys. Brad O'Donnell had 18 points with Matt Yaich and Josh Hontz chipping in with 12 each.

Brad Hurley was top scorer for the West with a game-high 21 points. Eric Busocker scored 15 and Steve Haldeman and Mark Zaengle added 11 and 10 points respectively.
