The engagement of Rachel Diehl to Daniel Oswald has been announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lisa Diehl of Lehighton and Todd Diehl of Kunkletown. She is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
She graduated from Kutztown University with a bachelor of science in special education, elementary education.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Brenda Oswald of Bethlehem and Jere Oswald of Lehighton. He is a 2002 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Tech where he earned a degree in electronics.
He is employed by IQE, Inc., Bethlehem, as an MBE reactor technician.
A wedding is being planned for spring or summer of 2013.
