Lansford couplewed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Karnish of Lansford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18. They were married in St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, Tamaqua.

The late Rev. Charles Stelmach was the officiant.

Mrs. Karnish is the former Barbara Coleman, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Coleman, Tamaqua.

Mr. Karnish is the son of the late Joseph and Valerie Karnish, Lansford. He is retired from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., where he worked as a welder.

The couple has one daughter, Terese, wife of Steve Ristila of Tamaqua.

A celebration was held at Kelly's Irish Pub, Lansford.
