The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Davis of Paducah, Ky. and Marilyn Reed of Cave In Rock, Ill.
He is a 2004 graduate of Hardin County High School, Illinois. He is employed by American Coal in Galatia, Ill.
A wedding date has been set for May 19, 2012.
