Receives doctorate
Smith
Nicole Smith, daughter of David and Nancy Smith of Lehighton, received her doctoral degree in physical therapy from Misericordia University. The commencement ceremony took place on May 21. A luncheon was held prior to graduation to recognize the doctor of physical therapy students.
Smith is a 2003 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Misericordia University, with a master of science degree in physical therapy.
She is currently employed at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Facility in Allentown.
