Susie and Bud Comisac of Tamaqua have announced the engagement of their son, Jason Comisac, to Amanda Sweeney of Hazleton, daughter of Cathy Sweeney of Hazleton and Thomas Sweeney of Forest Hill, Md.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in business management. She is employed as a general manager at a restaurant.
The prospective bridegroom is employed as a corrections officer.
A June 16, 2012 wedding is being planned.
