Heritage Hill woman turns 92

Josephine (Smith) Holman, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, celebrated her 92nd birthday on Nov. 16.
Born in Yorkshire England in 1919, Josephine has also resided in Clearwater, Fla.; Virginia; Willow Grove, Pa.; Freeland; Sandy Run; Hazleton; and Weatherly over the years.
Josephine was married to her husband William for 62 years, until his death in 2002. She has a son, William Holman Jr., who resides in Willow Grove and a daughter, Nancy Shaw, who resided in Hartford, Conn. prior to her death in 2003.
She is the proud grandmother of one granddaughter, Erica Lewis of Portland, Ore.; and two great-grandchildren, Riley, who is 6 years old, and Devon, who is 2 years old.
Josephine worked as a secretary for her husband in Willow Grove at an importing-exporting company called Power Sales.
Her hobbies include reading, playing cards, cooking and golf. She once won a trophy while playing a pro-am tournament in Florida.
Josephine is a member of the Methodist church in Willow Grove.
