The engagement of Amy Everett of Macungie, to Tyler Arthur, also of Macungie, has been announced by the couple.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Barry Everett of Jim Thorpe, and Diane Everett of Lehighton. She is employed by Coordinated Health in Bethlehem as a registered nurse.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Benjaman Arthur and Wendy Arthur of Jim Thorpe. He received a bachelor's degree from Wilkes University in casino marketing. He is currently employed at the Sands Casino.
A destination wedding is being planned for April 12, 2012 in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana.
