Daniel Narvaez, 18, of Tobyhanna, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, after his arraignment on June 29 on charges of criminal attempt to commit a motor vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and theft.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said he was arrested after police were called twice to the Martz Bus Station in Mount Pocono.

Initially, police were called there at 4:20 a.m. and found Narvaez walking around looking at cars. A search of the man revealed a large rock in his pocket.

After he was told to leave the area, police were called a second time when Narvaez was causing a disturbance. When the cops arrived, they were met by a male who stated Narvaez stole his keys and ran away. A foot pursuit followed resulting in the man being apprehended.
