The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) concluded another week of its summer volleyball league at the Black Diamond Park in Coaldale, with Valley Athletic Supply and Sandstorm coming away with six wins apiece.

Valley Athletic Supply remains atop the standings with defending league champ Sandstorm a game behind.

TUESDAY

Diggers Wit Attitude-Team Ram Rod

Team Ram Rod had a three-game sweep against Diggers Wit Attitude, 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Caitlin Kuhn had 13 points and four aces for Team Ram Rod.

Tricia McEmoyle had five points for Diggers Wit Attitude.

Dunder Mifflin Coal-

Valley Athletic Supply

Valley Athletic Supply kept its winning streak going with three more wins against Dunder Mifflin Coal Region Branch, 25-15, 25-16, 25-12.

Jason Boris scored a game-high 18 serving points and seven aces in the win.

Abby Owsinski scored four service points for Dunder Mifflin.

Now Serving-Sandstorm

Sandstorm kept its early-season momentum going with three wins against Now Serving, 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.

Steve Clemson had 11 points and four aces in the Sandstorm win.

For Now Serving, Kelsey Burkett scored five points.

THURSDAY

Valley Athletic Supply-Scared Hitless

Valley Athletic Supply prevailed over Scared Hitless, getting its second three-game sweep of the week, 25-13, 25-15, 27-25.

TJ O'Connor tallied 17 service points and eight aces in Valley Athletic's victory.

Kayla Colancecco scored seven points for Scared Hitless.

Sandstorm

In three close games, Sandstorm took care of Team Ram Rod by final scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-22.

Megan Inama had 11 points to lead Sandstorm.

Caitlin Kuhn had five points for Team Ram Rod.

Dunder Mifflin Coal-Now Serving

Now Serving rebounded from Tuesday's losses and came up with three wins against Dunder Mifflin Coal Region Branch, 25-17, 25-8, 25-21.

Sarah Paluck had a game-high 15 service points for Now Serving.

Abby Owsinski had six service points forDunder Mifflin.
