Dean's list at Villanova

Lauren M. Moyer, daughter of Joe and Melanie Moyer of Hometown, has been named to the dean's list at Villanova University.

During the spring semester, she earned a grade-point average of 3.87.

Moyer is a 2008 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, where she was named co-salutatorian. She is currently majoring in marketing with minors in accountancy and business law at Villanova School of Business, which is ranked seventh in the nation by Bloomberg BusinessWeek.

Moyer is a Curvey Scholar, student president of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, and a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She also serves as an ambassador for the Office of International Studies and has been inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Business Honor Society.

Moyer is the granddaughter of Mary Moyer of Tamaqua and Adele Lech of Coaldale.
