Graduates with honors
Megan Elizabeth Beam of Slatington, graduated from University of the Sciences during a ceremony on Wednesday, May 25, as part of the university's 190th Commencement celebration in Philadelphia.
Beam graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She was a physical therapy aid at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a volunteer for Magee Eagles (Quad Rugby) and Special Olympics.
She will begin her career as a physical therapist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in July.
She is the daughter of George and Elaine Beam.
