Auditions

The Bach and Handel Chorale is holding rehearsals and auditions for the fall 2011 season at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8 and 22, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe. Please go to the chorale rehearsal room, located on the second floor, to the rear.

Interested singers may attend and sing through the rehearsal with the chorale and remain for the short audition at the conclusion of rehearsal.

A simple audition consisting of pitch matching, vocal exercises and the reading of a Bach chorale is required.

The chorale will be preparing for its Christmas concert and the performance of Handel's complete "Messiah" in December. Please note that membership is now open to seventh through 12th grade, in addition to its regular adult membership, 18 and up.
