File for divorce

Joshua Aaron Napolitano, 217 Market St., Tamaqua, filed suit for divorce from Tonya Jean Napolitano, 333 W. Mill St., Nesquehoning. They were married Aug. 20, 1999.

Charles E. Brinich, 145 Valley Road, Tamaqua, started a divorce action against Alberta Brinich, 224 E. Elm St., Tamaqua. They were declared a Common Law marriage in 2001.

Granted divorce

William Irvin Horn Jr., 377 Mountain Road, New Ringgold, was granted a divorce from Lori Ann Horn, 2300 W. End Avenue, Pottsville. They were married Sept. 17, 1988.

Stacy Sabol, 428 Pine St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from John Blank, 10 S. Greenwood St., Apt. 3, Tamaqua. They were married May 22, 2000.

Michell L. Zaharick was granted a divorce from David J. Zaharick, both of Gordon. They were married Oct. 19, 1997.

Ruth Woo, Orwigsburg, was granted a divorce from Daniel Woo, Cannon Crest Drive, Calif. They were married Oct. 19, 1979.

Draws probation

James Paul Weeks, 45, of 177 Marion Avenue, Tamaqua R.D., on a charge of harassing Penny Chescattle, 88 E. Main St., Quakake, was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve12 months on probation, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee and court costs. On a charge of disorderly conduct was fined $200 and costs. Weeks was cited by Rush Township Patrolman Richard Bekesy.

Revoke probation

Amanda Marie Gunderman, 35, Hershey, had her state Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) revoked by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine and she was re-sentenced for passing bad checks to serve one to two years in the county prison and may participate in work release. She received credit for serving 10 months in prison. Gunderman was cited by Frackville Patrolman Daniel B. Weikel.

Ethan C. Kennedy, 24, Ashland, had her probation revoked by Judge Stine for violating rules fixed by court and was re-sentenced to serve 128 days to 23 months in the county prison and was given credit for having served 128 days but to be released on parole must submit to a drug and alcohol evaluation. She was sentenced last August on a burglary charge.

Kenneth Roy Beury, 42, Saint Clair, had his participation in the IPP revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin and was re-sentenced to serve 24 months in the program and successfully complete the Batters Intervention Program, Anger Management Counseling and submit to a mental health evaluation. Beury had pleaded guilty to charges of theft of a bank card belonging to Christine Boxer, Saint Clair, and to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol
