First day of school

The first day of school in the Northern Lehigh School District is Monday, Aug. 29.

Slatington Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club can always use help with the Lions trailer at the Trailhead on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. Even a couple of hours will help.

Special birthday wishes go out to Steven Dotta (Aug. 22), Claude Fenstermaker Jr (Aug. 23), John Tarafas (Aug. 29), and Luther Achey (Aug. 31).
