Slatington resident cited for theft

A Slatington resident has been cited fof theft by deception.

State police at Fogelsville said Beckie Ann Blencowe, 32, was charged with stealing from her employer by fraudulently altering receipts and keeping the difference for herself. The total amount taken was $232.

Police said the theft occurred at their barracks.
