Theft at coal mining site probed

State police at Frackville are investigating a theft incident at a coal mining site in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said unknown criminals entered the property of KK Coal LLC, located along SR209 in the village of Cumbola, Blythe Township, and removed track rollers from a D-9H bulldozer. About 35 track rollers were removed from a scrap yard on site. The theft occurred sometime between Aug. 8 and 13.
