Democrats had their chance

Dear Editor:

I would like to respond to the letter from Harold James on Aug. 13, 2011.

He must be living on another planet.

A short time ago, the Senate, House, and Obama had complete control of this country and drove it into the worst shape it has ever been.

As for the House in Harrisburg, the Republicans just had a meeting in Lehighton on Aug. 11 to abolish property taxes. What did the Democrats do?

When the Republicans take over the Senate and the presidency you will see jobs, give them time.

The Dems had three years and made this country second rate.
