Granted divorce
Christine Malanowicz, New Philadelphia, was granted a divorce from Matthew Malanowicz, Throop, Lackawanna County. They were married Oct. 23, 1993.
Collision suit
Mary Ann Subach, 224 Market St., Pottsville, filed a suit for damages against Jessice Blum and Laura Kellet, both of 226 Winfield Drive, MIddleport.
The suit alleges on Sept. 8, 2009, Blum was driving her vehicle in Pottsville and came to a stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Laurel Boulevard and Seventh Street. She claims her car was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Jessica Blum and owned by Laura Kellet and suffered injuries and damages to her car.
Revoke parole
Mark Alan Dietrich Jr., 20, of 366 W. White St., Summit Hill, had his parole revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin, and his 336 days of street time were dissallowed and added to his maximum sentence. He was committed to the county prison and the court will not consider any application for parole until he has served four months confinement.
The sentence imposed is to run concurrrent with a sentence imposed by Carbon County Court. He had pleaded guilty to criminal attemp to commit theft by attempting to cash a check belongi ng to his aunt.
Revoke probation
Molly Jo Jenkins, Tower City, had her probation revoked by Judge Baldwin and was re-sentenced to serve 60 days to 23 months in the county prison. She received credit for having served 26 days in prison and was paroled.
Jenkins had pleaded guilty to passing a $20 counterfeit bill at Walmart Store, Saint Clair, and was previously placed on probation.
