Copper and brass stolen in Monroe

State police at the Lehighton barracks said copper wiring and brass fittings were stolen in a burglary that happened between 11 a.m. Aug. 25 and 10 a.m. Aug. 31 in Monroe County.

Police said the materials were stolen from a pumping station shed owned by the Pa. American Water Company. It is located off old Rt. 115, near Ross Commons in Ross Township.
