Lioness, Lions plan annual Pink Light Walk

Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club is hosting its fourth annual Pink Light Walk on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Lehighton Recreation Center.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Warm up is at 6:30 p.m., followed by the walk.

Participants will walk from the Lehighton Recreation Center to the Lehighton Amphitheatre and back.

Nicole Beckett will be the honorary chairperson for the event.

Participants need not be a survivor to be involved.

Following the walk, light refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to win a homemade quilt and pink wreath.

There is no charge to participate and the first 300 registrants will receive a goody bag.
