September 22, 1956 Wilbur Derby scores a pair of touchdowns to help lead Summit Hill to a 12-7 upset win over Lehighton. Derby, who opens the scoring with a 10-yard TD run, reaches the end zone from 17 yards out on the first play of the fourth quarter for the evntual game-winning tally. Frank Santo preserves the victory, the first for new head coach Mike McCullion, with an interception late in the final frame. The Indians' lone score comes on a four-yard run by Bob Hofford.
