Carbon cyclist injured in crash

A Carbon County motorcyclist was injured when his bike crashed into the rear of a tractor trailer. State police at Fogelsville said the accident occurred about 7:59 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, along SR309 at Blue Mountain Summit in Lynn Township.

Troopers said Gregory J. Moyer, 44, of Lehighton, was operating a 1974 Harley Davidson when he impacted into a 18-wheeler semi-truck at the above location.

Troopers said Moyer sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Townshiop, by Northwestern ambulance.
