Vote taken

Pride in Chestnuthill (PIC) voted on the annual Chestnuthill Township Beautification Award at its monthly meeting on Sept. 8. The award will be presented to the winner at the November Chestnuthill Supervisors' meeting.

PIC extends its thanks to all the businesses in the township that did an outstanding job, maintaining and beautifying their businesses with landscaping and flowers.

The group welcomes any residents or township officials of Monroe County, who would like to start a similar program like PIC in their own township, to attend any of the PIC meetings to ask questions.

Also welcomed will be any Chestnuthill Township residents who join the group. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month (except for January, February, July and August) at the municipal building on Route 715.

The next PIC meeting is Thursday, Oct. 13.
