Old school people

Dear Editor:

The Lansford High Alumni Committee has been meeting at The Sports Zoo in Lansford a few times a year without any incidents. Today they interrupted my viewing of Deal Or No Deal to present me with a check for $500 towards our Zoostock total to benefit the American Cancer Society.

This is just a great example of "old school" coal region people doing the right thing. Thank you so much to these fine people for their generosity. If anyone knows how my show turned out on 9/14/11 at 1 p.m. please give me a call.
