October 17, 1980 Steve Comisac runs for two touchdowns and throws for another to help Tamaqua gain a 27-16 victory over Panther Valley. Comisac tosses a 10-yard scoring strike to Dan Smith and then reaches the end zone on runs of two and 74 yards. He finishes with 146 yards on 16 carries. The Blue Raiders, coached by Dale Titus, also receive a solid game from Greg Hinkle, who gains 56 yards on the ground and returns a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.
