Theft incident probed in Monroe

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident that occurred at a business in Monroe County.

Daniel Oswald, 48, of Albrightsville, reported he was in the Advanced Auto store, located along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township, about 6 p.m. on Oct. 21 and and left his wallet on the counter.

The wallet was stolen and was found about 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 22 along SR534. Oswald's PNC card and his driver's license were missing from the wallet.
