Cited for incident at courthouse

A Lehighton woman was cited for an incident at the Carbon County courthouse in Jim Thorpe.

Jim Thorpe police were called to the courthouse about 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, for a reported harassment incident.

Police said Jeff Levan reported that Laura Zacharias, 37, of 80 Mark Lane, had slapped him in the face.

Zacharias was interviewed and admitted to the incident, police said. She was issued a citation for harassment.
