Veterans Day observance
On Sunday, Nov. 13, St. Matthew's UCC 9 a.m. church service will be totally devoted to honoring and thanking the men and women who have served our country.
Everyone is invited to attend asked to wear something red, white and blue.
Youth group
St. Matthew's UCC's Youth Group meets on Fridays at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, please call the church office at (610) 381-2442.
Eldred Township Historical Society
The Eldred Township Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Eldred Township municipal building.
The members will be holding a Holiday Party with refreshments.
They are looking for new members and welcome the public to attend. There will not be a meeting in December.
Electronic recycling day
Eldred Township will hold an Electronic and Universal Waste Recycling Day on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m.-noon at the municipal building. Bring your electronics and universal waste for recycling and help save the environment. There is a fee for some items.
