Suter's 75-yard scoring run in the first quarter breaks a tie and puts Northwestern, coached by Bob Mitchell, ahead for good. Josh Snyder adds a 32-yard TD run while Jeremy Rex boots a 38-yard field goal. The winners finish the contest outgaining the Colts, 334-96.
