Mahoning woman faces drug charges

A hearing has been set for a Carbon County resident found to be in possession of drugs.

Mahoning Township Police said that at 11:18 p.m. Feb. 6, an arrest warrant was served at the home of Ashly Tansley, 28, of Jamestown Street.

At the home, police seized syringes and heroin packets.

Tansley has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tansley's preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 12.
