DUI arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.

Troopers said Douglas Rimbey, 40, of Lehighton, was stopped for a traffic violation operating a 1996 Ford Aspire about 9:47 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, along Bridge St., in Lehighton. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.

Gary E. Smith, 53, of Palmerton, was stopped for a traffic violation about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, along Bank at White sts., in Bowmanstown. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.
