Two charged with Monroe break-in
Two women was arrested and charged in connection with a Monroe County burglary.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Tuesday, Dec. 13, about 11:47 a.m. the home of Theresa Mahoney, 69, of 191 Candlewick Estates, Tunkhannock Township, was entered and various pieces of jewelry taken.
An investigation led to the arrest of Catherine M. Spera, 27, and Alisha M. Reaser, 27, both of Candlewick Estates. The stolen property was recovered.
The two suspects were charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and related charges, police said.
