Gas is stolen from Blue Ridge club

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of gasoline from the maintenance garage at the Blue Ridge Country Club in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said the incident was reported to have happened between midnight and 9 a.m. Dec. 12.

Police said someone went onto the property and proceeded to remove about 30 gallons of gas from a storage area behind the property.
